AGM and Networking: In Person and online
Join us for our annual AGM!
This year we want to take the opportunity to bring the WING community together to celebrate and reflect on the past year in person.
We will be hosting our AGM at the Taupo yacht club, with an option to join online for those who are unable to make it in to Taupo on the day.
We will have a guest speaker, light nibbles and a bar available with the first drink for everyone on us!
We will be joined by the indomitable Catie Noble, a loyal Geothermal ally who will share insights on the importance of connection – and what this means for women in the geothermal space.

WING NZ Workshop: Optimising Your Potential - Breaking Habits That Hold You Back
About the Event
Optimising Your Potential: Breaking Habits That Hold You Back
Does this sound like you?
You build relationships but don't actively leverage them to create opportunities
You focus on completing the job in front of you, rather than investing in your long-term career growth
If so, this workshop is for you.
In technical sectors like geothermal, many women possess the skills and experience to succeed but confidence doesn't always match proven capability. This interactive and reflective workshop is designed to bridge that gap, helping participants identify and overcome the professional habits that can limit career progression and leadership influence.
About the workshop
Hosted by Women in Geothermal NZ and facilitated by Kirsty Doyle, co-founder of Ara ki te Taumata, this session will help you recognise patterns, build strategies to close the confidence-capability gap, and step into opportunities with greater impact.
Who should attend?
This workshop is for all genders and is especially designed for women in geothermal at any career stage, whether you're early in your career, looking to grow your leadership influence, or a people leader already. WINGMen (male allies and supporters of WING NZ) are also warmly welcomed, if you work alongside women or lead women in the sector, this workshop is for you too.
WING NZ Networking and Awards
Join WING NZ for an evening of networking and celebration as we recognise outstanding people across New Zealand's geothermal sector. Connect with industry colleagues, build new relationships, and celebrate the recipients of the 2026 WING NZ Awards.
